Does anyone have nice formal hairstyles that are really easy to do that would look good for captains dinner on a cruise. it is for a young teenager. any websites that you have would be awesome.

My favorite hairstyle is taking a shower the night before the event, then french braid it when you get out of the shower. Take it out the next day, and you will have beautiful wavy hair! But if you do not know how to french braid, or someone can't do it for you here's a few more tips:

-If you have short layered hair, it looks darling when it is naturally dried with no-frizz hair products

-long hair looks amazing when it is curled.

Another look that looks good on just about all people is when you have it straight, half up, half down.

I have a perfect one!

Try getting side swept bangs, and get them thick, otherwise they will look a little "stringy". All you have to do is tie it up into a ponytail, maybe add a little clip, and use a curling iron to curl the hair that is being held up. It looks really great!

I am a big fan a a great blow-out. Clean, well blow-dried hair (straight) is simple and usually looks good the next day too. Especially if she is young, an up-do can be too stiff and old-lady-ish.

I think the best bet would be to go to a professional hair dresser and get a nice hairstyle, then keep it for a couple of days trying to use a hat or something, on the captain dinner event almost everyone is drunk so they are not going to notice your hair..lor

I had my hair done for my senior prom and it looked really nice but also was very simple for my hair lady to do! lol... here are some pictures... but mainly she just put my hair up in a half pony-tail and then took pieces of it and looped it around and bobby-pinned it in place and then curled the rest... it was very simple, something i could have done myself at home had i known how easy it was... but here are the pictures just click on the links!
