i have stick straight, it wont scrunch and it wont curl and it wont do anything w/o going back to straightness in the next 30min. no matter how much crap i put in it. so my Q is what can i do w/ it besides just, all down, a clip, half pony, etc. i want it to be a formal-ish hairstyle but nothing to complicated that id have to go to a stylist. plz help!

to be honest, almost all guys (and a lot of girls) absolutely LOVE long straight hair. the less complicated, the better. why not go to sally's beauty supply and get some clip-in hair extensions (that match your hair color, or buy a light brown to light blonde and dye the extensions to match your dress) (you can get the dye from sally's as well, just ask a sales associate for help). clip-ins are incredibly easy to put in. they add volume and length (and if you choose to dye the extensions it makes you look a little wild too, in a good way).

Yep. Got the same problem. You could tease it into an afro and 10 min. later its straight and FLAT. If it is shoulder length or shorter you could put the back up in a nice glittery hair clip and leave the sides down, or put part of it in a braid (you have to have damp hair to put it in a braid, or it will slide out) and spray it with mega hold stuff. Whatever you do, don't put TOO much crap in it, though, and don't change your mind and redo it if you can help it. I find the more you mess with it the worse it looks.
