Hair for a bridesmaid?

I am going to be a bridesmaid for a wedding in may on the beach i dont know what i am going to do with my hair any ideas please post pics and i either want a half up half down look or just down and i dont want it to look TOO formal dont want to have better hair than the bride so please help

Hair for a bridesmaid?

I don't have pics to post but I can give you a description of a really pretty simple half up half down style.

First pull the hair from the front and put it into a low ponytail(center of head) secure with a rubber band.

Next take small sections of the top of the ponytail and gently roll the hair tucking the ends in and pin in place.(make sure you use bobby pins and place them down into the ponytail) Continue till you have done this to half of the ponytail you should have half a circle or a fan shape.

Next curl your hair any way you want to very easy to do looks really pretty and you can add decorative flowers, barrettes, anything or leave it alone.
