Option 2, definitely. Good looks and a sence of style aren't important in the long run. I'd rather be with someone I could trust, have faith in, and who is looking out for my best interest.
Looks change... option 2's appearance can be spruced up and maybe become more attractive with age. Confidence usually comes with age too.
