is there a color of formal dress that i should stay away from because of my red hair?((i just dyed it that red/burgandy color))
if so what color, or what color would look best?
even better, what are some good shops that have formal dresses(like for winter formal)

Well stay away from dresses that are orange. Definitely bad with the hair and fair skin tone.
You should get a dresses that is white, black, pink (great with your skin tone), or emerald green.
